Posts: 244 Tucson , AZ | We manufacture a hand layed fiberglass front fender. Its very durable and strong..The front fender has been smoothed and brought in tighter towards the fender. It has also been reshaped and stream lined. the rear fender has been reshaped and lengthend 5". Helps keep road debree off your bike.

Posts: 115 Columbus, Ga | The front fender has always been one of the things I didnt like on the vision. This one looks pretty good. Two questions 1) How far off the ground is the rear of the fender. It looks kinda close in the picture. 2) How much? |

Posts: 244 Tucson , AZ | The fender is 3" off the ground. My bike is really low so it tends to make things look a little different.
the front fender is $185 and the rear is $185.
You can trim or shape the fender shorter if needed.

Posts: 244 Tucson , AZ | I am a custom builder... i make parts for the vision .. soon my website will be available( October) i will definetly be advertising on here. This is one of the best victory sites around. The paint is my design. Its alot of work... there are around 28 painted pieces.. around 12-14 coats of clear ( not including what was sanded off for cut and buff).. Thats not to mention the 60 peices that were powercoated..
It took around 3 months to do the paint job...drying time between coats. A paint job like that would run around 5K.
I have a few more parts available.. seat.. links... air ride.. laydown license braket.. and more. |

Posts: 51 Okotoks, Alberta | Let us know when you get your website up and running. Curious how you lowered your bike. Did you do it with air ride you mentioned? It also appears you lowered the front end, how? Any issues with dragging boards now? I love the vision, its just so damn tall. Would love to drop it a couple inches. |

Posts: 244 Tucson , AZ | I make a loweing link that will drop your bike 1" ( no mods. neccessary). I also have 2" and 3".... these require a little cut and modifications. The inner bags hit the pulley and the brake when you lower it that low. The inside of the bags need to be cut and sectioned. Meaning lift the inner portion that hits .
We will be offering an exchange for this kit.. you send use your stock bags, we will send you the modified bags ready to go. My bike also has air ride.
The front is a hole different story.. ALOT OF WORK went into lowering the front. My bike is 3.5" in the front and 3.5" in the rear. I have installed an Arlen Ness skid plate.. When i go around corners the plate drags and shoots sparks( nice at nite) . A 1" drop would not require a plate. We are working with a company to see if we can offer a dropped spring.
Another avenue is the drop seat made out of meomory foam we offer. I will allow us to drop the seat ride height 1" to 2", while gaining extra comfort. Let me know if i can help in any way. HMD520@yahoo.com

I have lowered three Vision using an adjustable link in the rear - 1.5" (adjustable from stock to 2" and have had to installed the Ness bag inserts.
How do your reconfigured bags compare to the Ness inserts?
With lowering it 3.5"... How did you deal with the lean angle of the kick stand? Do you have a shorter one that you will be offering?
Do you have any pictures of they laydown license plate?

If you go past 1" the bags hit... its alot of work. But looking good often is. On my bags i actually cut the bags and section a ribbon. Then fiberglass the new section in. Cover the inside and out with rubberized paint( helps keep things from rattling too). The kickstand is an issue. I had to bend mine extremely sideways. We are working on a shorter kickstand now. My bike almost stands straight up ... so i need one any ways. I do offer the laydown license plate brackets ... they are $20 . I do have pics of the plate on the bike. Hopefully i will have the website open with all the parts available ( October). If im lucky.. i plan to advetise on the this website. Caputured audience.
If you come to Tucson and want to take a look at it.. just give me a call , i will be glad to show you the bike... 520-301-4000

Posts: 244 Tucson , AZ | Not sure if the laydown bracket works with a trunk??/ the license plate goes over 1" into the trunk cover. So if there is atleast 1" of room before the trunk starts the go up with the rear of the trunk... im sure it would fit.

Posts: 244 Tucson , AZ | I have no problem painting them. I worked at a local Victory dealer a couple of years ago. I was painting Vision parts for them also. the problem we ran into is, there are different shades of both colors. I was using factory packs direct from Victory .. we had issues with them being wrong shades of the colors we were painting. Honestly..... its better if you have a painter where you are paint them for you. That way he or she can tint, add pearl, or correct the color as needed.
I would hate to paint them and the color be off? Then you would blame me for the color change.... when in reality, i used the stock Victory paint. Its not a hard process... any experienced painter can handle it. Should not take more than a few days. |

Posts: 329 scotts valley, California | The seat on my '08 Vision is coming unstitched. I am interested in your memory foam seats -- more info?
Also, when my vision was new, I had the Arlen Ness shop in Pleasanton lower the bike an inch and a half. They installed the belly plate at the time. It plows the pavement pretty well in the twisties. I imagine yours, being lowered 3 1/2 inches really does a number. |

I will email you some info on the seat...
As for the skid plate.... it has saved my bike more than once. When my bike goes around the corner at nite, looks like a firework show... lots of sparks. I have to make sure the pavement is smooth and not real bumpy. It will catch and try to throw you off the bike..
Eventually i will have to weld in a new corner.. it is slowly dissappearing. The price you pay for looking good LOL
I will see if i can get some one to take a pic of a nite shot.

Jeff I have not tried it on a bike with the pack. But i have sold 5 to people and not one had a pack.. I just sent one to cali. The guy went out and measured ...he said it would work.. The license plate goes 1" into the trunk cover. I think it clears the supports of the pack. |
