Posts: 284 mansfield, MA United States | In the new Vitory pure victory gear book they list the S1L2 pipes only for 2008-2009. the s1l1 pipes have a new part number for the 2011's. Are the pipes differant and will the s1l2 pipes fit onto the 2011's? Help lol |

Posts: 284 mansfield, MA United States | I have them on my 08 and love the pipes. When I'm rolling out to work at 5am I'm not waking up the whole neighborhood but when I need to let a car know I'm there they give a nice bark.
I called my dealer last night after I posted this and was told they don't have the map for the 2011 S1L2 pipes yet and there may be a issue with the new EPA reg. But they will fit and work with a fuel controller.

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | i think both the s1l1 and s1l2 is a waste of money for what you get. mufflers, air filter and a USELESS fuel map. i ended up having to get a fuel controller because the victory map was so lean it kept stalling allthe time. ever since i installed the power commander it NEVER stalls out! if i had to do it again for the price. i would of bought the mufflers and air filter sep and just purchased a fuel controller. when you buy the kits from victory your paying for the new fuel map, which even my dealer said he doesnt like as it has to be EPA regs so what means one thing.. LEAN LEAN LEAN... |

Posts: 284 mansfield, MA United States | I'm thinking of going with the D&D pipes. I am doing the whole set up. Big bore, CAM's, Air intake and power commander. I do a lot of riding (over 20 k a year) so I don't want anything that will rattle my teeth. Lol I just want to let the guy on his cell phone know he is coming into my lain! All I'm looking for is a bark when I snap the throttle.

Posts: 284 mansfield, MA United States | I will. They are still working on the price. I think I'm going with the D&D pipes. I'm going to call my dealer today and tell him to go that way. The bike should be in any day now. Mom south did one a few weeks ago with the 2in1 pipes on it. They had Lloydz there for a open house and put it on the dyno. It was right around 128-129hp. He said the 2-1 killed it. I would be very happy with 130hp!!!!!! I am also very comfortable with the mechanics at MOM's. They came thro for me on my 08 VV! I had a lot of problems with my bike and they always got it back on the road.
