Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Hey man, since you think my Vision lives in the garage, figured Id tell you that i put 585 miles on her
this past weekend on the annual Fall Victoberfest trip to Snowshoe Mtn. Great weather, about 11 bikes 4 Vision Tours, 1 Vision 8Ball, 1 Cross Country, 2 Kingpin, 1 Jackpot
The twisties through the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding mountains are awesome. Makes me wanna get a second house up there just to ride the bike from. Mountain folks were awesome.
"Hey mister, someone ever tell ya that yer motorcycle looks like a space ship"...........
Now the only down side is she is all covered with bugs and dust and with the water restriction in place here, i cant give her a bath.................. |

Our family cemetery has an old fashion hand pump under a beautiful sugar maple. When the water restriction is on that's where I take all my vehicles for a wash. No ever complains. O.O Maybe you have a fresh water pond near you? Just use a natural cleaner that doesn't leave bubbles behind and all should be fine.
Then again you can just use the great Polaris/Victory spray cleaner like Pete has since he bought his Vision. |

I use a bucket of water and a soft bristle brush to clean the heavy dirt off. Then I use the bug stuff on the front first, spraying and wiping. From there it is the either the Polaris polisher or something similar, all around the bike and then it is wiped down one more time with a clean, dry micro cloth. |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Here is the deal about the water restriction. Here in Chesterfield county Virginia, the county has asked for neighbors to "patrol" each other and anyone caught watering lawns, washing vehicles etc etc once reported will be issued a 200.00 fine that appears on their next water bill.
I live in a neighborhood full of retired people with nothing better to do then walk the streets with pad and pencil jotting down infractions such as
"the Jones's have 3 flower pots on their porch and they are only allowed 2". "The smiths have a bird bath next to their garage"......
You can imagine the " OMG, that man with the loud motorcycle who clearly is a delinguent who rapes children and robs banks is washing his
dangerous motorcycle, we better call the county AND THE COPS im sure there is something highly illegal going on over there" ha ha ha ha
....seriously, they reported me 2 years ago because while i was away on vacation the plant on the front porch wilted....
Now just to get even, i make sure i pull back into the subdivision late night gunning the Vision as loud as I can,,, granted they are all in bed by 8pm. |
