Posts: 129 Coastal , NJ | I called Zack's Vtwin on Friday to ask about some unrelated things. Zack informed me that Victory WILL be replacing the creased/dimpled bag lid under warranty and that he had already ordered mine. Evidently he was informed of this in the past week or so. I believe you will have to contact your dealer for this fix as I believe there won't be any recall or official letter.
When I took delivery of my bike I did so because I had confidence that Victory would correct the issue with my bag lid. I wrote an email to "some people who know some people" and attached a video of the defect. I know it took them a while to sort this out with the vendor they use , but I am happy that those of us who took a chance on a new bike will be taken care of on this issue. Thanks Victory! Standing behind a new product is a good thing... |

The Poconos | My bags have been replaced under warranty and I couldn't be happier. The left side lines up now and I don't have to flinch every time I catch the dimple.
I also took delivery on my Vision with the confidence that Victory would treat us right and they did not disappoint me.
I have had a handfull of things replaced under warranty and as far as I know it has not been a hassle. It is great to have a reputable dealer to stand up for me and my concerns.
My Vision is a joy to own and ride. Now if I can just hit the lottery so I can ride more.
Thanks to TRUMBAUERS MOTORSPORTS and VICTORY for standing behind your customers and new product!! |
