| Where did you put your shock pump?
I picked up a pump for a bicycle and it works great, plus I found a great place to put it.
It only cost $30 shipped, and it is smaller than the Victory or HD models.

The gauge range dosen't work great, but I'm using the factory supplied gauge. I also found a great place for that too.

Single sided, homemade double sided, pain in the butt. Wasted a couple of pieces in the process. No velcro for the air gauge, instead I used a cabinet door closer. I need to paint it black when I get a chance. |

My tools are in that spot, and it is a pain to get stuff in and out of there. Hence why my tools are in there - they don't get used that often.
The pump and gauge are used often enough to justify a better location. |

Didn't know that, but then again I never rifled around someone elses trunk, nor did I have a desire to own the changer. |

I store stuff there in a clear Ziplock bag. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I felt that was a good place for a while, but the way I ride it gets pretty nasty in that area so I just keep it in the bag now. I am thinking on the trunk method though. |

I use the CD cavity for some cleaning supplies, but recently saw a small car safe at Lowes that looks like it could be mounted in there to hold a handgun or other essentials. I would also highly recommend getting the saddlebag lid organizers. For just a couple of bucks and an hour or two to install they are great. Hold a windbreaker, first aid kit, emergency space blanket, air pressure gauge, extra tie downs, maps, and more without taking space away from the bags themselves. |

Thought about that location too, but the biggest issue with the pump getting wet isn't an issue with the pump.
The big issue is water getting into the pump means you can get water into the shock, and that is a big problem that can screw up the shock. All air shocks do not do well when they get water in them, and all MFG's warn you about it - including Victory.

Posts: 74 Lehigh Valley, Pa | I've ridden in some pretty wet weather and never had an issue with water getting "into" the pump. By the way they pump unscrews and comes apart in about 10 seconds if it needs to be cleaned. As they age a little light oil helps keep them performing like new.
I also went a looked at the way the pump is sitting in the bike, water is not going to get into the pump unless I am running the bike backwards in a monsoon.

We need a better picture. Where is the gauge head? |
