Apologies for what may be noob questions but I haven't seen these answered in this forum or in any of the reviews I've read so far. (Next weekend's demo ride will be the first time I'll actually have gotten a chance to see a Vision first hand.)

a) Will the side cases hold a full face helmet?

b) Is all the body work plastic - ala Goldwing? Or is the tank/console area metal?

c) Is there an accessory socket or is this a dealer-installed option?

d) Is the canbus system a full canbus (no fuses) ala BMW? Or is it a hybrid system with fuses?

e) Can the bike be ordered from the factory with the options such as intercom/CB, upgraded alternator, etc. or are these dealer installed options?

thanks!

[NO], the Tour's top trunk will hold 2 full face helmets.

b) Is all the body work plastic - ala Goldwing? Or is the tank/console area metal?
[YES, the tank cover and fairing is a plastic like material, not metal]

c) Is there an accessory socket or is this a dealer-installed option?
[There is a dealer option to add 12volt sockets to various desired areas (e.g. heated clothing). It is on the dealers option list]

d) Is the canbus system a full canbus (no fuses) ala BMW? Or is it a hybrid system with fuses?
[Sorry, don't know]

e) Can the bike be ordered from the factory with the options such as intercom/CB, upgraded alternator, etc. or are these dealer installed options?
[I have ordered both of these options, but I believe they are dealer add-ons. Double check this at your test ride.]

thanks!

Please see answers interlaced in the quote. Sorry I was not able to answer all of them.

Thanks Tim!

Bummer about the side cases. I'm not interested in a top case but I was hoping that the side cases would at least give me some place to lock up my helmet.

Tow - The sidebags will fit a half-helmet. I know you asked about a full-face, but thought I'd give you alittle more info. They do seem to fit more than it appears. I saw a Vic Engineer empty a side bag looking for his camera. I was surprised at home much stuff he had in the bag including a leather jacket and clothes. It probably has more volume (cu.ft.) than your helmet, but its just the shape that is the killer. JAM

When I was "trying for size" the the Vision Street model, there was a full coverage, not full face, helmet in the right sidebag.
