Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Oh surely you jest! The man was full of dribble, he even got an award for it, somebody else was tied with him, but I digress. As much as I would love to out the Cap' of Dribble, I won't. As far as I've seen, he hasn't made the association between the two. But you can tell he isn't far away, I think he loves this site as much as he loves riding. Maybe it has gotten a little hum drum around here, but I still call him the captain of safety. I don't know that he hit a limit or that he just signed off at a precocious number of 5g's. I do wish he would post his mileage every now and then, it's always amazing watching the numbers climb. It gives me a good feeling to know that the bike should last me a while. |

Posts: 204 West Knoxville TN | Why exactly is there a limit on a site dedicated to just Vision Riders? I actually just thought he had exceeded the number of post he would be credited with. So which is it? |

Posts: 741 Central New York | So what's the deal? I've been busy with my house getting it on the market so have only done some cursory glances from time to time. Have noticed the absence of Varyder but didn't give it much thought. Did he jump ship and go back to winging it? What's the nonsense about exceeding posting limits? Forum limits, if there are any in force, are only an arbitrary number the web site owner types in the block and can be changed as easy as I can edit this post. At least for now. Give the Liberal's enough time and posts may well be controlled by the government. So seriously, where's the dude? Is he OK?

Posts: 457 Green Bay, WI United States | No, that's called collective bargining for airplane pilots. Now Vision Pilots and Co-Pilots do not endure this process, we ride hard, ride fast, but above all ride safe and free....

Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | Congrats mr. donetracy on the dribble, the forum is like a bunch of riders hanging at the favorite watering hole getting a laugh, or sharing some good piece of information.
Whether it is a boat or plane it is still a ship, just as our bikes in which we pilot. A ship may be safe in harbor or hanger, but that is not what it was made for.
Gentlemen, ride safe! |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Biscuit - 2011-01-13 5:13 AM Just who is this VARYDER? The Virginia Rider (Chris) is merely the most proficient member of this establishment - both in loquatiousness and in mileage (something like 90,000 miles on his Vision). Chris is a multiple recipient of the GOLDEN BIB AWARD and has rewarded us with descriptions of all of his adventures, and misadventures. He is missed by all of us who have followed in his bike tracks. Pictured below is his first award, given also to CHICKINMAN who's blather still continues to amuse some of us.

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | finally the truth comes out and we see he just boycotted his old handle, oh the travshamockery (stolen from the days of the BuckNaked)!
Ode to the Cap'n Vadangthere'siceouthereryder
Be the days cold, I don't mind.
My leather chaps and tassles keep me warm.
The black ice waits for me,
but I drive around with a pucker in my seat cushion.
The mileage ticks over like seconds in a clock,
Only to ride another mile, to see what's around the block, or to work, or to see the family.
The safety miser of us all,
only to see he too has had a few close calls.
Look right, look left, noooo lookout behind.
I met the man once known as Varyder, only to find out he was not the harsh, roughened, biker type we all think of.
But yet, is a man who loves his leather, chains, tassles and his Bentley.
Oh, I almost forgot he loves his BBQ too.

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | I dunno, where Bucky0 is at? I Think Vary(unstable, off his rocker, loosely bolted together) has given himself a payraise to Captain Davey Jones. Alice - hmmmmm, say the Skynard on some show the other night. Why! I'm not really sure. |
