Posts: 48 Simpsonville, SC | Why don't you like the S1L2? Too Quiet? Poor sound? Not enough power? Poor quality? They look like they are better built and should last longer than the S1L1's. Plus have heard they provide slightly better power than S1L1.
Thanks,

Posts: 262 Flowery Branch Ga | Check the Thrush exhuast mod several posts down. Cheap, easy,no map change needed, and according to the videos sounds great. Alot of people have done the mod with good results. I also plan to do this mod as well. Take a look. Just my .002.

| I believe HP ratings have been discussed in the past. According to Lloyd, if I remember right, the S1L1's put out on average an extra 2HP over the S1L2's and the Ness Big Honkers in identical prepped bikes.
I personally love my Honkers. Best sound I have heard on a Vision with Lloyds upgrades. Without Lloyds, they lose a little of that deep rumble but still sound better than the other two. |

| From what I've seen, the Honkers are hands down the best performing exhaust you can put on a Vision. Sound is subjective, but I think they are also among the best sounding (loudest, deepest). |

Posts: 284 mansfield, MA United States | I had the S1L2 pipes on my old Vision. I have the D&D on my new one. The sound of the D&D is 1000% better. It has a deep throaty sound I don?t have any performance numbers on it because I had a lot of engine work done at the same time. I found the S1L1,S1L2 and others all had a sport bike sound to it. The D&D?s to me are more like a traditional ?Harley? sound. Not just loud but deep. |

According to Lloyd, the Vics perform better with some back pressure. The Honkers have no baffles and no back pressure. |

I wasn't aware that the Honkers have no baffles??? That's baffling....
I'm just going by what I've seen first hand from my friend's Vision with the Honkers, as well as the various dyno charts on Lloydz' site. The Honkers show the highest TQ from the lowest RPM's.... and they seem to maintain it even with the intake mod and cams.... |

Posts: 432 Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | If you look at Dyno Runs on Lloyds websight the Honkers do real well. After S1L2 and modifying the baffles I have a pair of CFR mufflers waiting for warmer weather. I do believe they are some of the best looking pipes, the chromed billet end caps are real sweet. The guys at Chesapeake Cycles said they run well, they have a short video on you tube. CFR is working on a full system and selling the mufflers off at $350.00. |
