Posts: 277 Apopka, FL | My front tip-overs are chrome and pitting. My bike has never spent a night outside. She is only 4 months old and these cheap chrome pieces are pitting. Does Victory warranty any of these items? |

YES! Take it to your dealer. They'll take some pictures and send in a warranty claim. They replaced mine.

Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | rdbudd, glad to hear you got yours replaced, in the early days I believe it was hit and miss, some dealers took care of their customers. Now being on the extended warranty they are not mechanical, but rather cosmetic and I know if they won't touch a blown exhaust pipe, they won't touch these, thus my response, Ha! But I am glad for those who gets theirs taken care of. |

| It might be a dealer thing. Sure it's hard to believe that Victory has gotten better over the years. I remember a '99 chrome primary cover at my closed dealer with a quarter size bubble in it. I agree they have a ways to go still.
Their chrome reminds me of Kuryakin chrome. Looks good till the weather gets to it. I thought they might have changed chromers when they had to cancel the chrome forks on '08 Visions? Must be a pain to find a good chromer for the quantity. 1-800-Taiwan? |

Posts: 156 dinwiddie, va | I can honestly say of all the Victory's I have serviced over the years, I haven't had a ridiculous amout of chrome issues. When I did, they were on earlier models. Most of which I knew for a fact that they were kept outside, under a port, or in a shed. We never had a problem getting it covered under Victory warranty, but extended is another story. |

Mine were pitting pretty quick into my Visions life after purchase. I hate to say,
but I am glad I ain't the only one.

My bike is one of the early ones. The pitting started on my left front tip-over within the first year, but my right one is original and still fine to this day. My dealer sent in a warranty claim and Victory sent a new one without any drama. This was under the factory 1 year warranty.
