Parkersburg WV		Hi, I have seen a couple of the black in the windshields flaking. Is this a common problem and has the warranty taken care of it?

New Bohemia, Va		mine has flaked, but never go a single thought to a warranty claim for this.

SF Bay Area		Mine never had an issue, but after many miles of road chips I did replace it with a 16" CeeBaileys clear shield. Thicker plastic, less distortion, but no black areas... the shield mount is black.
