Seems there are tabs on the inside of the outer trunk skin. I noticed the outer trunk pulling away from the inside right next to one of the screws that attach the inner and outer. I can only assume that the tab has broken, my question, does anyone know of a good epoxy that will hold? I could get a plastic welder but dont want to spend the cash on one if there is an epoxy that will do the same job.

Thanks,

mike

Well I have user an plastic epoxy, and it was hard in about 5 min,was stronger than the it mended. The cost was less than 10 bucks. And I'm sold on it,I got it at NAPA. Good luck, oh the JB Weld should work fine, I plastic epoxy was black so it blends in. I welded the main support panel thatthe dash is bolted to, it saved me about 175.00 !

Permatex plastic epoxy(they have different strengths). Its in a tube thats side by side just squeeze out what you need mix that, then cap the tube for later use. Dain

I ordered some Plastifix from the Urethane Supply Co. Seems to be the way to go, you can remake broken tabs for all kinds of applications....thanks for all the replies...
