Hi Gang,

Well got my VFCIII controler last night! Plan to work on it this weekend while the snow around my area melts in June! lol
Any tips on install? Plus where would be a good location? I was thinking in the saddle bag where the XM radio goes, is there enough lenght in wire for install. Was thinking there would make it for better acess and keeping it dry? Are the injectors in front of engine or rear?
As for settings I guess I will get to that point when I'm done installing for my set up. I have to read through install pages..Thanks in advance!!!

All that I have seen, including mine are under the pop up panel in front of the seat.

I have been thinking about getting a VFC III.

What are the benifits of adding this to the bike ? Acceleration, "grunt" ?

What performance increases will I see ?

How does it affect 2 up riding ?

Is it better than a chip replacement ?

Should I wait and go with just a cam change ?

Thanks !

We compared a bunch of Visions with different set ups in Daytona in 09 after they ran on Lloyd's dyno.
VFCIII and Lloyd's intake gave an extra 8HP plus TQ.
Cams added in my case an extra 22HP over just VFCIII and intake.
Computer upgrade last year gave me and extra 9HP plus much better throttle response.
Highly recommended to add VFCIII and intake with cams. I do not know of anyone that has done cams without one.
Has anyone done cams alone?
