Extreme Southern, AZ United States | Today I had my rear tire replaced at AZ Victory. While I was there, Mike brought in a Hammer with a new Turbo kit installed. Sounded good, but didn't see it on the street. Mike said that the manufacturer was looking for someone with a Vision to prototype a turbo Kit for the Vision. He said the kit installed with pipes etc, ran around 5100 bucks. He thought that anyone who volunteered his Vision would probably get quite a deal. Thought I would bring it out for all. |

mansfield, MA United States | I love the idea of the turbo but I don't think I would like the look of it. That's a lot of "bulk" to add to the side of the bike. But the Dyno numbers might be worth it!

New Orleans, La, | From the information you gave I am pretty sure the company is Aerocharger of Overland Park Ks.. They have been turboing Polaris snowmobile products for some time and now also do Victory and Can Am products. Just put in Areocharger to your favorite search engine and view their web site for more info. |

Orlando | I?m not sure why the other members of this Vision forum bought a Vision, I for one am a long distance rider and wanted a bike that I would be comfortable riding for 800+ miles a day. I came from a BMW K1200LT, it would do 220 miles on one tank of gas, beats the Vision is speed and lean angles as well. Passenger comfort is much better on the BMW according to the Mrs. My comfort on the Vision is 110% better as I am over 6? tall. The BMW was too cramped behind all that plastic.
A turbo might look cool to the red light to red light races or cool at the local bike night, but I don?t feel that it adds to the touring function of the Vision. I know it won?t help me pull my Bushtec or increase my long distant comfort? My two cents!

Northeast Ohio | +1 hdfed, however, some may run street trim and not have bought the VV for the touring aspect. With the Vision being an oil only bike, bolting on a turbo will only yield about 500 miles of oil life!  For me, I am with you. I did the cams for a little more pickup, but I am not looking to win a 1/4 mile race with a GSXR-1000.

New Orleans, La, | The Aerocharger turbocharger is a self contained unit that carries its' own oil supply. No need to tap in to the engine oil and risk an oil leak or engine oil contamination in the turbo or turbo heat breaking down the engine oil. As far as the bulk of the turbo hanging off the side, in steel tube frame Victory applications, the Aerocharger is mounted low and in front where the pre Freedom engine oil coolers lived. Just saying. |
