Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | I give credit to RadioTeacher who came up with this idea. If you have the CB/Comm control on your bike, the bracket is the one on the top, and the Radio control is on the bottom bracket on the left bar. If you swap these out and put the Radio control on the top bracket you will find you have better control and reach, especially at stops using just your left hand. You can keep the clutch disengaged while adjusting volume, or search.
As he soon as RadioTeacher originally shared this I changed mine around and find it much more convenient than it being on the bottom.
I did a search and didn't find anything posted in the tech, so I thought I would share it again. Nothing really to it, remove the two bracket screws, swap, being careful to reroute wires and you're down. |

Posts: 104 Corona, CA | I did that the first day I had my bike. Great mini mod ! It makes much more sense to do it that way.
When I went into the dealer last week he was sitting on it and said my controls were wrong. I said yea and I like them that way - don't touch them. |
