Posts: 104 Corona, CA | Nozzledog (Darrell) and I went to Temecula toady for the Fuel It demo ride today.
What a great day and nice people ! Steve ( I think he is the owner of Temecula Motorsports) was very gracious and let us ride anything and everything we wanted on three 30 mile rides through the back hills of So Cal on a great sunny day.
We both took turns riding the Jackpot and Highball. What a difference from the Vision ! Nice bikes for bar hopping but it would hurt to ride either on an all day ride. I'm happy with my vision.
I'll let Darrell tell his impressions of the bikes when he chimes in.
Here are some pix of each of us on the Jackpot. Me

It was a great experience. The Highball needs to have the foot controls moved forward a little. I could get used to the high bars, but for now, I just feel I'd be out of control in a panic situation. A LOT OF POWER FOR SUCH A SMALL BIKE!
Got to take the Cross out as well, just curious if I made the right choice. It did fit better, but didn't quite have that 'lap of luxury' feel. It felt like the little brother to the Vision.
I mainly wanted to see how the 11 tranny behaved. Still had the same clunk, I liked the notched feel for finding neutral. But did not like how the gear display went blank when stopped. Wasn't always sure I was starting in first gear.
Today made me very happy I bought the bike I did. |

Posts: 92 Chandler, AZ | Looks like it was fun! Hey, question............were they handing out the $1K off new bike purchase coupons for Demo Ride participants? If so, and either of you picked one up, and do not plan on using, I sure could use one! My local dealer here ( Mesa, AZ) is having a Demo Day this Saturday, but he is doing it on his own just using his in-stock bikes, and said that Victory won't send him the $1K discount coupons since they aren't sending a Demo Truck here to make it "official". I've sold my bike and am looking at either the Vision 8-Ball or the XC, and getting the extra $1K off would be a big help!
You can PM me if you want, and THANKS. |

Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | They told us that anyone who bought in the next 14 days would get $1k in free accesories. Anyone who currently owns a Victory and buys another one in 14 days gets $1500. They didn't give any coupons, just a copy of our riding agreement/waiver. |

Posts: 92 Chandler, AZ | OK; appreciate the reply. When I hit a Demo Day last November, they actually handed out a "coupon", good for the 14 days; they may have changed the MO for 2011. |

Posts: 92 Chandler, AZ | Hey, thanks, Jedi! I was aware of the offer, but was under the impression it was only for current owners. Got it printed off and ready! |
