Posts: 804 Perry Hall, MD | Reading post about the IBA - and special destinations (I have a few of my own plotted out on a map hanging in the office) keeps us young and thinking of more ways to enjoy the Vision.
Maybe this video will inspire any who are talking about when they will 'have' to give up riding to start selecting another special destination instead.

While I worked in aviation, the rides to and from work and on weekends let me clear my head if even for just a few minutes and let my subconcious sift things a bit. I enjoy the exploration part of it, finding cool twisty roads that the cage wouldn't have the same effect that sticking a knee out on a curve does. I tend to try to mesh with the road and get the entire experience. i tend to ride by myself as I might just want to go 'there' while everyone else might go 'over there' plus I hate the constant jockying to keep other riders off me and worrying about all the dynamics involved, tends to spoil the ride. |

Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | I do a lot of riding with my Dad, who will be 78 this year. He has an 08 Goldwing(can't hold that against him), and has logged over 30,000 miles since March of that year, when he bought it new. I have only 28,000 on my '08 Vision, but I do split my riding between three bikes, to be fair. I loved the video, and he and I plan new trips every year. We will be heading along the old Route 66 this year, and will do Alaska sometime in the future. -----Metalguy |

Posts: 367 Cottage Grove, Mn | I'm coming up on 67 this year and I have three trips planed, Glacier National Park, back to the Blur Ridge Parkway and in between a Butt Burner 2000. I plan on riding until I can no longer get out of bed on my own.

Posts: 161 Oregon. | Saw this post in the archive and thought I would bring it out. I ride for the desire of experiancing something deeper. You can't get the same experiance sitting in a car. You can smell the pines, hear the ocean, and experience the thrill of driving the road like nobody else can, that is sitting in a car.

| For me it's simple, I enjoy riding. Turned 56 last month and I've been riding since I was 7 or 8. Hope to ride another 30 years. |

Is it possible to capture all of that in a poster? It certainly is motivational. |
