The Black Vision has arrived. I was called by Randy of Randy's cycle
of Huntley,il, He stated the bike is being put together and we should be done by Saturday. Well I shot out there and took some pics in the assembly state and discussed the items MISSING.

No chrome forks were completed (waited 6.50 months for those to be chromed) but they never received a second set so they could send them out to the chromer. I know this is an issue with everyone because the dealers from what I was told were all ordering forks to be chromed for their customers and none were available. well I have a bike that is 60% chromed and forks that are not. Randy being the great guy he is has worked it out so I will have them before I go to Laconia in june. ( i pray)
Every thing else is complete except for minor late additions. I will try to pick it up next tuesday or wednesday the weather here is crap, and my schedule is work/work. Now lets hope the allignment of the bags and the other issues we all have discussed is complete and i will have some pics soon for the site. thanks to everyone for their input so us guys getting the bikes late have wiring, and other issues worked out so we can try to get ours complete. Hope to meet up with ya all soon. tom d

Not a plug or anything, but you do you Chicago area guys know that the Northern Illinois Victory Riders spring ride is this Sunday? (http://www.illinoisvictoryriders.com). We're meeting at Sidecar Tim's at 11:00 for a ride and eats. It's about 6 miles west of Il 47 on Roosevelt rd (rt. 38.) If you're interested E-mail me at mward270@comcast.net. and maybe we can arrange to meet up and ride out together.

Looking forward to seeing everybody in the sunshine. I'm just a mile north of Rt. 38 so Randy's would be about 80 miles out of the way for me, so I, and Dave from Wheaton will head West together.
Tom, I think you ran into my son a couple of months ago at Maybrook. He works in Forest Park.

I'm planning to be there. I'll be going straight out on 38; don't know if I'll run into any of the other lads along the way but no plan to meet up. My son starts the Northwestern U. supervisor's course on the 28th. Looks like a promotion coming soon.

MUDGE, AS I SAID, I HEAR HE IS GOOD AT HIS JOB. CONGRATS TO ALL.
IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE YOUNG TALENTED AND PROFESSIONAL
FELLAS DO GOOD. I KNOW HE WILL NOT FORGET WHER HE CAME FROM.
THE # 1 CAUSE FOR SELF DESTRUCTION AFTER PROMOTION IS
EGOS AND FORGETTING THAT YOU TO ONCE WERE AN INFANTRY MAN.
NORTHWESTER IS A GREAT SCHOOL FOR THE TRAINING. I MAY STICK AROUND FOR
2-3 YEARS, I COULD GO AT 60, 14 MONTHS LEFT.
SAFE RIDE SUNDAY TOM D
