Posts: 111 Salina, KS | I just put my A-B's on & was wondering what you all that have done this mod did to seal the tip to the rear of the muffler. I have stock tips & they sleeved over the outlet of the original muffler to direct the exhaust through the tip. Now, with the new cores, exhaust gas is escaping around the heat shield as the new cores & tip have a small gap 1/8"- 3/16". I rode it home 20 miles & there is already soot build up on the outside of the tip. Any tips / ideas will be appreciated. |
