I received several replies from my post earlier. The stock windshield is 9" tall. I purchased the 11" from cee bailey. Don't like it either. Better for riders 5'8" or shorter. I chose the 17" because at 5'10" I thought it might work best for me. I think I will be looking through it, but I would rather have that than all the wind noise and buffeting. Anyone about the same height with the 17" windshield that can tell me how it works.

I'm abnout 5'10". I run the CB 17" in winter and on long Hwy trips for protection. You will definitely look thru it. Have a CB 13" I leave on most of the time. I barely look over it but can tuck behind it in a pinch on a rainy day.
