| I wish we could coordinate a Cam install party in Minneapolis...
Is anyone in terested in Hosting one or attending one??
There is a gentleman in Des Moines who comes highly regarded as
a very knowledgeable tech/install guy for Lloydz products.
LMK if you are interrested in either the install or Hosting the gathering
if we can get 4+ interested parties we can get him up here...

Posts: 169 The Vic Shop - Central Iowa | Well you guys are just a few hours from me, so if you can only line up the two bikes that's fine. Of course the more the merrier! Remember I can do Cross bikes and steel frame bikes too, so include those guys in your search. |

Posts: 23 WI | No dates in mind but might be interested if I have the weekend free. I was contemplating a trip to Rylan's shop sometime this summer to have mine done but this would be closer. I will keep tabs on this post to see what you come up with for possible dates. Thanks Mike |

Stretch,
Take a look at Lloydz site and the dyno graphs for your ride. I believe there is a close match for you. Then you decide if its worth it.

Posts: 169 The Vic Shop - Central Iowa | Costs at this time for me to travel to you are: 2008 - about $1100, 09-11 about $1700. That's with cams, carriers (if needed) VFCIII and intake plate and labor.
I say "about" because some guys have some of the pieces already like the VFC or intake plate. And some guys need more stuff, like pipes or a IAC. Also Lloydz new style cam isn't out yet, so I'm still quoting the carriers.
If anyone is interested please get a hold of me ASAP! The cams go quick and I need to order them quickly in order to have them for your bike even if the work isn't getting done till weeks from now.
Thanks! |

Yep, these are the questions that prompt me to put "about" before my prices, LOL!
No word on the cams yet, supposed to be in the final stages of production, but that could take who knows how long.
New cam pricing is not set in stone yet, but expect to knock $300-400 off the total (with carriers) bill.
Yes, it is cheaper to come down to my shop. I charge a little more to work at your house, but the convience can't be beat!
Contact me if anyone has any more questions. |

I have been going to do cams on my 08 Vision for some time now. I have just installed the thrush exhaust and am noticing the popping that most others have so here are a couple of questions about the mod.
1. Will running the thrush exhaust on a stock mapped bike with the stock air filter cause any damage to my engine until the cams, vfc, and intake are installed?
2. Does the intake plate come with a performance filter?
Thanks Mike |

Running that exhaust with the other stock componentes most likely won't hurt anything. Unless the popping is REALLY bad, or the bike is stubling alot, or you go ahead and ride it like that for a very long time. If you just need to get around for a few weeks and it seems to run fine, just a couple more pops here and there, I'm sure you'll be fine.
The intake plate is a performance filter. You'll probably want a cleanable front filter as well. |

Posts: 215 Boydsville, AR United States | This is the BEST thing you can spend your money on except a new bike, and then yiou will want the cams on it too. Bling is nice because everyone can see it, but if you want EVERYONE to see your tailights, then this is the mod for you. It will increase your mileage too. Hands down, this was the best money I've ever spent on a motorized vechile. Just Do It! |
