Subject: Easiest way to get the lower belt guard off?

Lansing, MI		I took a gander under my Vision, I see the ugly lower belt guard has two bolts that mount it to the swing arm but they are next to impossible to get to. If I took the tire/wheel off it would be easy but that sucks. If I took the seat off could I reach down between the saddle bag and the frame to get to the bolts? Any ideas?
