| Do you know which magazines would have the coupons for harbour freight? Being up here in Canada we get hit with tax crossing the border with this stuff, for lifts about 8.2% on top of what we already paid. I did get a good deal from Premium, but if I can the equivilant for $299 then even with the border tax it would still be a great deal. Thx |

I went with a Direct-Lift Pro Drop Tail a few years back and have never regretted it.

My first choice was the Atlas Hi-Rise 1500 from Direct, but, like I said, they were not much help to deal with so I moved on...

for those interested: the magazines that have the Harbor Freight coupons for the 1000# lift table for $299 are the April issue of Rider and Motorcyclist. While I was at a store in Massachusetts I did go in to take a look and would have bought one but it would not fit in the back of my wagon. It is packaged in a box about 8 ft long 2 1/2 ft wide and weighs 350#. So at some point I will have to go with my truck and pick one up |

| john frey - 2011-03-24 10:23 AM Do you guys in Canada pay less tax on used parts or used bikes? If you buy used/new parts or used/new bikes from a shop then you pay sales tax... If you buy parts privately no we do not generally pay tax. If you buy a used bike here in BC you do not pay tax when you buy it, but they do get you when you go to get plates, |

I was quite surprised to find one of our local custom bike builder/repair shop's that has a HF lift. in use constantly and they've never had a problem, a friend also got one at a discounted price and has no complaints, if I had the room in my garage, I'd probably get one myself.
