| I have owned many dif kind of bikes, from Ducati to BMWbut I have always had a Harley up until now. I sold both of my Harleys over the past couple of months. My 95th Anniversary Heritage Springer - a numbered Bike & My 95th Anniversary Road Glide - another numbered Bike. The Springer won show after show but rode like '48 PanHead. I added a Thousand Dollar - Road Zepplin Air Seat to the Road Glide and it road great but doesn't come close to the New Vision that I bought last month with the Stock Seat. Anyone that has a Harley now and test rides a Vision will make the change. Ride Safe!

Welcome brother Mark to the world of Victory. You will see in this forum and www.theVMC.com that many alterations can be made to your VV. Tell your HD buddys to wake up and smell the burning rubber!

Woodland Hills, CA | I had been on a Harley for over 20 years when I test rode the Vision. One ride and I was hooked, and I haven't been disappointed. Still have the Harley, but it rarely gets ridden. Its just that I have so much in it, I can't seem to part with it. And besides, I would miss the oil slick on my garage floor.

| Welcome and congrats on the new Vision. While my brother was visiting one time without his Harley, I borrowed a V Strom from a friend of mine and my brother used my Vision. After about 150 miles of riding, my brother really liked the Vision but would not think of getting rid of the Harley(Harley thing). But he did start looking at Victory's. Sometime ? |

Georgia, west of Atlanta | I actually use my RoadGlide as a spare now, AND it has a 107" Axtell mountain motor in it. The Vision is just more comfortable and with the Lloyds cams and tuning is just as fast or faster than my $5000.00 dollar TC engine.............. |

I always thought my 100th anniversary Ultra was as comfortable as you could get, and maybe in 2003 it was, but it's night and day between the two. I have come out of the shadows and into the light. Springfield, TN | As you will see by my pics I have H-D in my blood. A natural born WI "Cheese-head" that knew nothing but H-D all my life... When I got my "03 Classic Cruiser I thought I was going to get voted out of the family. Somewhere around my Dad's 75th year I talked him into letting me give him a ride on it and all he could say was "wow that was a ride to remember!". Somewhere around 45 years earlier he gave me my first ride on the back of his '48 Panhead. If my Grandpa, who was a motor patrolman in the '20's, could see my Vision I think he would love it... he always knew there was something out there better than an H-D (He was a rogue "Indian lover") Now after over 75K miles on Victory bikes you won't see me on anything else as long as I can ride 2 wheels... then I'll just get a 3 wheeler... wonder what they will look like in another 20 years???

| I wouldn't take for my Vision. I've owned a Gold Wing and an Ultra and I enjoy the Victory so much more. Best balanced tourer out there. My Harley friends disagree and give me nothing but excuses when I outrun,out handle and out brake them lol. |

Georgia, west of Atlanta | Some people will just not accept facts: No matter what I've done for my 2003 RoadGlide it cannot physically be as big and long as the Vision. Even "new" ElectraGlides and RoadGlides are what they are: nice touring bikes, they were developed from earlier models and are stuck with the smaller frame demensions. The VV however was a clean sheet design and was made to be more comfortable than anything out there, and it is. Theres no denfying that unless you're drinking your brand kool-aid. facts are facts, just like I always say: One thing I can't argue about is the VV dosen't have as much storage capacity as a HD Dresser with a king Tourpack. That's fact too but I just accept it and don't pack quite as much........ |

Springfield, TN | Went 5,000 miles in 16 days. Nashville to Yellowstone and back via Black Hills in '08. No luggage rack, just stock trunk and bags... Actually had a lot of stuff we never used wasting space. Now if we were camping that's a different story... But "Roughing it" to my wife is a motel without room service.
I do have a purple mustache from the kool-aid too... I admit it. Of all the bikes I've ridden my Vision meets all my needs better than any other. |
