| Changed oil on the bike and no oil light. So off to the dealer where he found a rubber boot covering the oil sender. He pulled the boot and found dirt and water and the wire off. He said he never saw a rubber boot on the sending unit. Problem solved.
Ness air filter on top of frame. Disconnect 02 sensors. WOW first ride so it felt like a rocket. Only 4 pops at slow speed in 60 miles. It was a good 20 mile a hour wind today so I didn't notice any extra noise from that air cleaner.
To early to tell how mileage was. Bike ran great.
Thanks to Kevin X and the other motor heads for all the information you give us. |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | My 2008 came with a boot on the original sending unit. The dealer tossed it in the trash when the sending unit started leaking after about a month of ownership.
