I think it's a good idea. I know there are some riding jackets that incorporate this into their wear (motosport, as an option to any of their coats) and I have seen decals for helmets. I don't currently have a "rider alert" card. But I do keep my personal info (blood type, allergies, Dr. name) logged in my cell phone under my ICE (In Case of Emergency) contact. Of course, I also have two key contact names/numbers/relationship in the same spot.

Pray it's never needed but I view it the same way I view my personal wear...dress for the crash pray it doesn't happen.

Hasta.

I've used the notification info that I first used (and is required) by the SCCA for anyone racing in SCCA road racing programs. In pretty small letters on the back lower edge of my helmets is my name, my blood type, my drivers license I.D. numbers, and any drugs I'm reactive or allergic too. Mine are painted on, but you can get decals to do the same.

In my wallet next to my Drivers license is an info card that basically tells first responders EXACTLY how much medical assistance beyond basic things I want done until I get to a hospital or wake up, and it ain't much, if it's bad, keep me comfortable until I go. and specific instructions that neither myself or my family will pay for anything beyond the very basics if it looks like I will die. If I'm going to die, I'd rather just do it once and not look like I was being prepped for a launch into outer space at a cost of thousands of dollars a day.

One idea I heard that I like and use is a memory card, you can put Birth Cert ,Ownership papers Ins cards and the like on a small memory card and put it in your wallet or on the bike and if you need proof of something just hit a Kinko's and print
