Guys, my trunk cable stay pulled out of the crimped end! I wonder why they didn't just use an air strut like the saddle bags?? I will go to my dealer with my gripe on that! -----Metalguy

Do you have the luggage rack? I notice on mine that it is way to much stress, thought maybe it could be shortened since the center of balance has changed.

Yes, I do, and it shouldn't really matter. The trunk rack was designed for the Vision. I will make sure my dealer replaces it.------Metalguy

You're right Bob, but the extra weight adds extra stress. I'm concern that it will break the trunk liner and want to recommend to Victory on the lids to shorten the cable by a half inch or so to less the "drop". The center of balance will keep it open, though I like your idea of a dampener like on the side doors.
