Posts: 23 knoxville, iowa | I have a midnight cherry vision tour premium. I recently let a friend ride it and was involved in an accident. While he escaped with minor bumps and bruises, my bike didnt fair so well. The accident destroyed most every body panel on the bike. My insurance company is taking care of the repairs. MY question is this. Is it possible to put 2010 skins on a 2008 vision? I am thinking since I have to replace most panels anyway why not update the look. I really like the 2010 ocean blue and sandstone. My dealer has been really great to work with since purchasing the bike in 2008. The service manager says he is not sure if all the panels will interchange. Does anyone here have any idea if it is possible or has anyone here done this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Your dealer can look up the part numbers and tell if they would fit or not. The dealer would have to look at the body parts and all so what they fasten to.
I don't think they changed any thing except the body part where the ABS mounts to.
Most insurance company's might not like the idea but what they don't know helps you. |

I'd ask the dealer for the old parts and toss them up in buy & sell forum here. Might be a few things that a few of us around here might be interested in. It sure beats letting the dealer toss them in the garbage. |
