| Am looking for a new pair of boots since I got the Vision..As I have a short inseam and can almost flat foot the bike at stop, I read another post that talked about boots with a higher heal and sole than my old ones...Found the boots on the Milwaukee boots web-site very nice for the money and have thick soles, heels, and good traction on bottoms....Kind of a "goofy" question on this forum, but maybe some with similiar short leg problems could offer their opinions on boots without opening another "can-of worms" oil thread......Thanks and I do not want to lower the bike or change seats etc......

Posts: 554 2 mi from Jim Beam n KY | I'm vertically challenged also. We have an outlet store in Elizabethtown that carries Harley Davidson boots. You can to about any HD dealer and get them. The outlet store was a bit cheaper. Anyway, I bought pair of boots with a thicker sole and taller heal . Does the trick. But I also plan on sending the seat to be re-stuffed, with 3 inches of foam instead of 4, once the first snow hits this coming winter. That will be about perfect!
YMMV!!! |

The black leather boots are exactly like HD's boots. I always wondered who made them for Harley. |

Posts: 880 Orlando, FL | Wow, you guys go for the heavy boots! I like 'em on the lighter side. I just bought a pair of Sidi Slash riding boots/shoes for the summer (it's freakin hot here in FL!) Cold or rain or for touring I wear my AlpineStars Ridge Waterproof boot. I buy my boots from revzilla.com They have a schitload of boots from Racing on down and the best customer service I have experienced. (It's hard to buy shoes online) |

Posts: 262 Flowery Branch Ga | Since we are talking boots----- I am displeased with the lack of life in the HD harness boots that I have. I am looking for squared toe harness boot in black with the LUGGED sole not the smooth sole that most have. I also need it priced low. Made in the USA a BIG plus for me. Can ya'll help?

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | These Chippewa Snip Toe boots are great. Made in the USA and have a Vibram Sole. I always have a firm footing wearing these boots. I have seen many boots of lesser quality that look like these Chippewa's.

They are worth every penny and can be re-soled.
