Nova Scotia , Canada | Hi there, I just purchased a 2011 crimson Vision to replace my 08, and purchased a set of gatlin tips. This evening when I went to remove the stock tips I discovered that the centre section on the stock tips are welded to the muffler outlet pipe. Has anyone experienced this before and did they grind off the welds to remove the rear section of the stock tips? Has any one else attempted to install gatlin tips on a 2011? Advice welcome

Mt. Vernon, WASH. | Gatlin is either a shit kick singer or a town in Tennessee. GATLING as in the hand cranked machine gun I believe is the correct name for the part. |

Edmond, OK 2012 Vision, 2012 Cross Country | Yes I did have this same problem with my '11 cut the weld and replace them with the new tips. Works great. Good luck. |
