I had installed the Kuryakyn 4710 before on my 2008 VV, so I thought I'd put one on my 2010 Crossbow. Got it installed today, turned the switch on and everything worked. Great! Put the trunk back together, taped some of the wires up, pushed some around so they would be out of the way. Let's check it again, I turn on the switch and the trunk lights don't work, the headlight doesn't work (the HID works). The brake lights, turn signals, front and back work. So I have checked every thing out I can think of. I even put it back to the original wiring, checked the bulbs just in case I blew them.
Is there some connection between the front headlight and the trunk lights.

I have the wiring diagram from my 08 but I can't figure this out.

Me again, Hope nobody was poring over a wiring diagram. I stopped to eat supper, started looking again and found the problem. Self inflicted again. In putting the trunk lid halves together I must have let them tip forward to far, and pulled the connection apart above the right hinge. My 4710 works, but the headlight (running light) still doesn't. It could have been out before. Back to work!
