Leicester, England | Hi All, thanks for a great site. My name is Peter and I live in Leicester, England.
I saw my first Victory, a Vision while on vacation March 2010. In the middle of a 3 week (4 wheeled) road trip mostly in CA. I try and get over every 5 years or so.
Had just driven from Vegas to Death Valley and stopped at Furnace Creek for a coffee break. Going back to the car I spotted a black Vision pulling in and stopped to chat to the couple on the bike. They had just ridden in from Vegas themselves and were happy to give me some information on the bike - I was impressed. Headed off to meet up with some friends fromTexas on the road to Yosemite.
It had been over 30 years since I had owned a bike, though ridden a few since, and had no thoughts of joining the biker crowd again until about 2 months ago when I discovered that not only were Victory selling bikes in the UK, but my nearest dealer was only 12 miles away. One day I decided to go have a look and when asked if I wanted a test ride I had said yes before I even thought about it.
Went out for an hour and on my return was told the dealer didn't close for another 2 hours and I should come back then. I took delivery of my new Vegas 8 Ball on Friday 13th May and in 3 weeks have put 460 miles on the clock and am looking forward to a great summer.
Getting involved in the Victory scene in over here which seems to be thriving so all is well.
One day I will ride a Victory in California!
