Replacing Dunlops on Jackpot

I was considering the Avon Venom or Metzler ME880s. Can anybody give me advice as to how the ride is or the what kind of mileage on either of these tires or have any other suggestions. The Avon has a rounder profile compared to the Dunlop's flat center section. It makes the bike easier to ride on crested roads and in turns. I've ridden it on several occasions before and after the tire swap. I much prefer the round profile.
