either tighten your belt, or quit drinking so much. Did you hit any birds? The belts have a very close tolerance, you might want to check it. That's just what the people in my head told me. You could either tighten the belt, turn your radio up, ignore it, or chirp along. All those options are free of charge. The other option is to pay $95 an hour for a mech. to walk around your bike scratching his head, and telling you he doesn't hear anything, but then tells you that you need new tires or something high dollar, and you still have the chirping. Oops, I was having flashbacks of the Harley dealer....never mind.

Where is RI are you from?
Check to see if something is rubbing against the drive belt. The '99s made a weird noise when the belt guard would rub on the belt. I am sure the Vision doesn't have the same main guard but there maybe a lower guard?

Sandman...Look north, turn right, drive 10 miles, here I am.
Rehoboth to be exact. I can hit the intersection of 44 & 118 with a rock.
The Providence area? Anything closer?

As to the Blueox... I've known the "Cow" longer than time. Him and I have ridden many miles. Once we rode to Kansas for free food. 1486 miles, 29 hours straight! God those were the days.
He lives in the Constant State of Mass Confusion. But I think he tells people CT.

Mine does it but only when it's sat over night and cooled off. After I go down the road a few blocks the belt warms up and stop chirping.

Ah... So ride north on that 136 of yours...you'll run smack into the southern end of town.

I might, and this is a BIG might be down your way tonight. Might hit the Topsider for grub. Have to wait to see what the GF wants to do.

Been to the Bean many times, on my way to the Bac Dor. That place just ain't the same since they cleaned it up. Still good though.
Definitely hook-up sometime, I'll even see if JAM came come play.

Sandman... Sorry to say, we won't be coming down. A little to chilly tonight to be out late on the scoot. Plus being by the water is a minus.
Definitely another time. My email is in my profile...hit me up with your phone number and we'll get together.
Off to din din. Later...

Fixed chirping sound by tightening belt drive according to manual, 12mm or 15/32 of deflection with rear tire off the floor about
1 to 2 inches. Question: when bike is on the floor on it's suspension belt seems tight, is this normal?

Yes, that is normal. Also, make sure it is running in the center of the pulley, this will also help with belt noises.

My belt squeak started at 5000 miles. Finally at 16,000 miles Victory is going to replace both drive units and the belt under warranty.
Squeak be gone, I hope.
