Posts: 732 Western WA | So, at some point someone, probably when I had the Kuryakyn 4710 installed, over torqued the bolts holding the upper passenger pad in place. I've never touched the thing. Although, admittedly, it does sound like something I would do.
One bolt came out fine, the other three - just spin and spin.
I've tried applying pressure behind the pad where I removed the one bolt, in the hope that the added tension would be enough to allow the bolt to start backing out but no such luck.
Suggestions? Or am I hosed into buying a new upper pad. I tried looking on the Pure Polaris site but they don't offer prices or a way to check out.
Thanks in advance. | |

While off of the bike I pulled it up snug with the bolt & a washer so it would reset into the back pad. Hope this helps you with yours

I'll give it another try, but I think at this point my only option is to drill/remove the bolt heads.
