Posts: 51 REXBURG IDAHO | Sorry no pic but a simple install the amp is small and will fit in the compartment in the trunk where i put my manual and small tool set with lots of room left over.It works like this you cut the wires from your stereo and direct them to the amp so that you can use your volume control on your bike and and then a set of wires from the amp to your speakers and a direct dc line to your battery. i did have a audio shop do the work the guy had not done a install of this amp on any car or motorbike its so new. its just a matter of running wires. |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | That amp is too cool. I see that Amazon has them for under $180.
It would simplify the cabling. No speakers load resistors would be needed.
Rather then cutting the harness one could use PosiTaps and just disconnect and seal off the bikes speaker connectors so they do not short out. After that just run the speaker cables from the amp to the speakers. Run it all in a loom to make it nice.
If you wanted to go stock again....just pull the amp and its cables...undo the positaps and reconnect the speakers.
This is almost plug and play....almost. |

| I just installed the Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4 and after one day's ride I have uninstalled it. Too loud for me with ear plugs in. I can hear it for sure but I pity the people in cars around me. Back to the original setup. If someone would like it please let me know. It is brand new as of last Friday. I'll let it go for $150 including shipping.

| I used the Kicker 4 ohm. I've also pulled those and reinstalled the originals. Without the amp the Kickers is not loud enough. BTW, the amp is now sold.

Posts: 51 REXBURG IDAHO | sorry guys and gals its been a busy summer riding i did put some dacron behind the speakers and that makes a big diff also that you dont loss noise out the back of speaker housing. i am on a pet bitch session right on how victory really lost sight on the vision bike for a long term cross country bike they want to be the other american motorcycle company then put out a bike that proves its self year after year and not have to be fixing and upgrading everything on a 24.000.oo bike they should be ashamed and if thats what the new american standard is then as everything in this great country sell out to china.
