Posts: 132 New York | Just want to let everyone know how excited I was to finally meet the Master Lloyd Greer and Bri at their shop in Pine Bush NY.!.. You cannot ask for nicer people, Lloyd and Bri treated me like an old friend and for that I will forever be grateful! Also, Lloyd work his magic and installed the VM1-Dr cams and a brand new designed intake Plate by Lloyd!!! (my Vision is the First and only one with this design so far!!! ) and the VFCIII, High Rev ECU limiter, Lloydz idle air valve, D&D Boss Slip ons Chrome 45 degree cut....
Anyways, when Lloyd Brought out my Vision when he was completed and told me to take it for a ride.. believe me.. when I took it down the road and punched it I instantly smiled ear to ear!!! Love it!!!...
Lloyd Definately is the Master!!! Made my Vision into a whole different bike.. and yes, those D&D pipes are sweet looking and sounding...So if anyone is looking for the stage one level one pipes with gatlin gun tips like brand new let me know because they will be for sale soon!!! |

| It sure crossed my mind , Lloyd posted good numbers on the dyno so not for a while. Maine also has new laws coming in so I want to see how it pans out before I do muffler work. For the moment I'm content. I do love hearing other bikes sound to see whats possible. |

| No they are stock pipes . I did drill a 5/8 inch hole in the front plate inside the muffler with a 28 inch drill . It deepend the tone of the note. |

Digby, can you give me any more info on this. All I'm looking for is a little deeper tone from my stock pipes. Where did you drill? Did it affect the performance of the bike at all?
Thanks,
Paul |

| I first found a picture on this site of the baffles cut out. There is a plate that exhuast hits first befora running down tubes and turns again. before exitting.
I started smaller at 1/2 in ended up with 5/8th hole. I did this first by welding a 1/2rod to the end of a 1/2 shank 5/8 drill total length about 28 inches which is plently to clear gatlin tips and bike parts. To protect the tips and center the hole inside the muffler on the plate I used a piece of pipe. the drill fit just right inside it. I already had a fuel controller on the bike but did not touch it.
I feel the bike had more up top after the hole was drilled. I did like the tone its still quite but barks a little when you ramp it up.
th plate that getts drilled is at left end
