Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Just went to one of my frequent shopping online stores and did a search for the Dunlop Elite 3:
Front tire - 116.07
Rear Tire - 157.35
total - 273.42
plus 35 install front
55 install rear
Total - 363.42 no shipping charges to my zip.
That is a savings of 166.58 approx. over what I paid. I would have had to of waited a week. I like my dealer but Dang. Tall B (at FRS) how do I get a better price? The online guy has a shop and retail store that he runs.
www.ronayers.com
I have used them for over 6 years for parts and supplies.

at $269.97 shipped.

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | g1nomad - Have you ever done business with the link you posted. The tires on that site appear to be the right ones. Had the right size! Just curious. These prices must be near the lowest they can go.
Dealer told me these prices are lower than his cost. Why does everybody gotta have my money.......... It's mine, I'd like to keep it. I don't mind giving the dealer a bit of profit to eat. But if they are the same tire, by the same manufacturer, and a good quality, how do I justify giving some one else a ben franklin, just because I like him. That's like me giving Buckn*kd a Ben franklin, and expecting him to come back with something to eat, instead, of a couple of ladies that tear their own clothes off and a cooler of adult beverages. It just ain't happenin'.
I did it this time, don't know that I can do it again? My kids gotta eat too!

Posts: 496 Scottsdale AZ | Poot - Could you spot me a loan for $100- I need tissues etc and it sounds like you have a money tree just outside the heated brooder that is growin money like mad. As for givin BkNkD the Benj, wellll----not a good idea- the money he spend on his recent 230 mile 9 hour trip was spent on frivs, or wasted. Oh! I guess thats what you thought also. BTW, I would spend it wisely.
On the tires, twice I have been stung with a "to good to be true price" that turned out to be seconds. They kinda looked new - but- they had cracks, off color rubber and there was no way I was mountin those up on MY bike. Ate one pair got a refund on another. Just sayin - real low prices scare me. Now that said, the dealers are probably at the top end price wise, I'm, sure there is a cost savings from there.
Make sure any new ones you get don't have any sheet rock in the wedges!!HeHe
Are brooders heated by definition? or do you need to say heated brooders? Been awhile since my chikn farm days.

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | RedHeadedJim, I have no money to spot you, you were supposed to be sending tissues for my cleanup job.
As for the tires, this dealer or website I posted has always had good prices on brand new items. I have bought repair parts (not for my vision), and other items all of which were brand new items. Original packing, with manufacturer tags on them. I have yet to get something 2nd hand or blem. I don't doubt for a second the guys is reputable, I've spent too much money with him. Sorry to hear you had to eat some of your benji's from the money treee. I know personally, they don't taste too good, kinda dry and chewy. Hard to swallow and then there's always the guilt associated with it.
As for the brooders, I think brooder is heated by definition, been awhile since my chicn farming days, also, probably not as long as you though! MUUUAAAHHHH!!!! AHHHH!!! I started to say youth, but I decided to say, barely seasoned, buy you couldn't tell from the sunburn I got the other day. OUCH!

Lots!! Hal, the owner of the www.gl1800riders & www.vtxoa.com (plus others) is
the link. He usually has holiday sales too. I used to have a VTX1300S, so between
that & the Goldwing, Hal sold me plenty.
