Gotha, FL | Can anyone tell me how to minimize riding gloves from bleeding black dye all over my hands when its hot and humid out? I have multiple brands of good quality gloves and they all sweat black dye which soon washes off but its a pain in the rear all the time to take the gloves off and see my hands stained black. |

| I have two different pairs of gloves from Lee Parks, www.leeparksdesign.com and they have never bled even when they have gotten soaked while riding in rain. For summer riding I have gone to wearing gloves from Oakley, http://www.oakley.com/products/hand-ratchet-glove-2/94085-012 as they let the air flow right through, have kevlar in the knuckles and palm for protection and definitely improve your grip. Funny, the other day while riding I was stopped at a McDonalds for lunch and an Army soldier came up to me and asked how I like the Oakley gloves and I told them they were great for riding, he informed me that they were standard issue for combat in Iraq due to the close quarters fight they always saw. I guess if they're good enough for the military they are good enough for me!  |

| Wipe them down with rubbing alcohol. It takes the excess dye out. |

SF Bay Area | I use tan deerskin gloves, and have no issue with black staining. There are many brands available. |

Mt. Vernon, WASH. | Gloves are like dentures, you really need to try them on, you can't get a good fit through the mail........
I switch between my SULLIVAN TROOPERS and a really old pair of natural deerskins that are almost a reddish cinammon colored on the backs they've been exposed to the sun so long. Neither the Buffalo or deer turn to replica O.J. gloves when they get wet (stiff and hard and like 60 grit inside) My glove issue is the thumbs outer seam pressing on the edges of my thumbnails and making my thumbs numb. Lots of LEXOL rubbed in. |

Fort Walton Beach, FL | I wear a pair of "Firm Grip" gloves from Home Depot... black and white to match my bike and very comfortable...$19.99. Leather gloves that bleed onto your hands are cheap by definition... the manufacturer leaves out the finishing rinse process and does not "lock-in" the dye with a sealant. Rinse the gloves well in plain warm water and then seal with a good conditioner... "Doc Bailey's" is well known in the motorcycle circle and works extremely well... I use "Aussie" conditioner with beeswax. |

I can certify this also... never had black hands wearing fox creek gloves...Every piece of riding leather I have is from Fox Creek... Quality leather! ...

New York State | Left my lid and gloves on a plastic chair I covered the bike it rained new Victory gloves and lid filled with water Took them inside flushed them in the sink and put them on the porch rail. Gloves are dry and no ill effect to fit. Helmet needed a flush anyway. I like the Victory glove 2x is not a lie and there holding up well |

We use basic leather gloves in the fire service and turn them inside out so the bulk of the seam is on the outside. Not as pretty, but it gets the job done. |
