| My seat heater is stuck on. I try to cycle the power on and off but it's on ALL THE TIME. Makes riding in the summer no fun. I finally just disconnected it. The grips are actuated by the switch like they are supposed to but this one has me stumped. Any ideas? |

| It could only be in the switch. Thats the only thing that works the heated seat. Dain |

| I see you only have one post and a newbee. I am also wondering how long you have had your Vision. I am not thinking you are dumb but I forgot to ask. You do know there are 2 settings for the seat a high and low with off being in the center. Just covering my bases. Dain |

Okeefenokee Swamp | If the switch is not working,simply remove the seat and unplug it until you can get to the dealer to have it repaired. |

Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | One way to check the switch is to measure the resistance while you cycle through the 3 different settings for each switch. You will need a multimeter. Connect you multimeter on the two tabs that come out of the seat power connector. First put both seat connectors in the middle position, each seat has 3 positions, forward, middle and back. Your multimeter should read open or no connection or resistance. If you do not get a open reading try moving the switches to different positions. No two position should show the same readings if everything is correct. The switches could be wired wrong or wires could be touching near the switch locations. I don't have my seat off while writing this but I believe you remove the seat switches to better troubleshoot. The good thing is the seat is working rather not at all.

Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | I meant to say in the middle position that you should have an open reading. The forward position (high) should read lower resistance than the rearward position). At least I think so. One possibility is that the switches are wired wrong or the tabs are connected wrong so that the middle position is high and forward is off or some possible combination. |

| Again, not to be insulting, but the switch on the dash is NOT for the seats. The seat switch is on the left side of the passenger seat. Don't be embarrassed, this isn't the first time someone thought the switch on the dash controlled all the heated items. |

Western WA | Back in 08 I had my seat replaced under warranty for the very same reason. |
