Posts: 599 New Mexico | My Powerlet in the trunk fell out, with the wires and and mounting ring falling back inside the innards of the trunk. I removed the trunk with the hope I could access it to reattach, but no luck.
Anyone know how I can get this reinstalled/attached?

Posts: 222 Barefoot Bay, FL United States | I lost the trunk LOCK a while back. The nut holding it onto the shell fell off and went into the space between the inner trunk and the outer shell. Took a while to get it all apart, but I managed to get it done, then re-attached the lock with Locktite. It's held eversince. |

Posts: 599 New Mexico | Thanks all. Decided to ride today, but will get to it soon. And will pickup some locktite. Was even thinking about replacing it with a regular cigarette lighter outlet so I don't have to us my adapter.
