Posts: 53 Gotha, FL | Has anyone got a good scenic route from Memphis to Harrison AR? Route 14 looks kind of interestiong from around Batesville up but the only roads I know are the interstate to Little Rock and then up Rt 65 from Conway. Anyone have any experience with some nice Arkansas backroads they are willing to share? |

Very pretty and not a lot of cars. Also Hwy 7 Between Russelville (West of Little Rock) will take you on a very nice scenic drive up through Jasper and into Harrison. Another of my favorites. If you have time to kill, head west once you get to Harrison and see Eureka Springs. It's a bit of a haul, but worth the trip. Have a great time - I hope the heat isn't too bad! |

South of Mountain View about 25 miles on Highway 5 is a great biker store called Drasco Trading post, not far from Heber Springs. South of Harrison is the Hub Motorcyle resort (motel and restaurant) at the old Dogpatch site. South of there is Jasper Arkansas, Highway 7 is a good road. I feel a ride coming on... |

Posts: 53 Gotha, FL | Thanks for the info...the mountain music festival sounds pretty good. Can you tell me how long it takes to ride from Batesville to Harrison. Also thinking about stopping in at Heber Springs and doing a little fly fishing on the Red River. |
