Posts: 34 Robins AFB, GA | Was wondering if any of you nice folks might know why I hear a sound similar to that of cicatas chirping when I am at cruise or accelerating? As soon as I roll off throttle it goes away, and seems more prominent on the right side of the bike, although that could be my imagination. Is that the stock intake sound? It's not terribly annoying, just....odd. Thanks. Andrew |

| Yes, if they didn't adjust it properly from the factory. I had the same problem and it took two dealers to finally get it quieted down. Seems that some bikes are more prone to have the belt chirp than others. I don't know why but they are very sensitive to tightness and alignment.
