| I just bought an 2011 Vision and put about 660 miles on it when I noticed the primary gear cover was leaking. I took it to the dealer and he said this was unusual and said it was probably just the gasket. Has anybody else had any similar problems? I understand engines but one leaking after 600 miles has me worried. |

Posts: 447 Cleveland, GA | About a year ago I noticed that my 08 was leaking a fine mist of oil from the front cylinder and leaving a bit on the right front 'swoosh'. Turned out it was a porous casting and my dealer replaced the front jug under the extended warranty. I just picked it up last week (okay, so I went ahead and got the cams done while they were tearing the bike down anyway). |

| I have never heard of a Vision leaking here either...but, anything is possible as it is a machine assembled by humans....I would not screw around with it and march it right back to dealer and get it fixed ASAP...This is what warranties are for....Good luck. |

I wouldn't let it worry me. Just get it fixed and make sure you keep the documentation of exactly what was done and when. And enjoy!

Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | I had my primary do the same thing. just a very minor leak. They just replaced the gasket (under warranty) and it has never leaked since then. Now when i first bought my vision in sept of 08 I had not gone even 70 miles when the rear jug just let lose and sprayed oil all over the primary and down the left side of the bike. My dealer stepped up and uncrated another vision and replaced the bike for me and delt with the issue with victory. Got to say that was solid thing to do in my book and I have spent another $6 to $8K with them on upgrades and service becasue they backed it. Heck the paper work hadnt even dried yet so it was easy for them to change the paper work and make it right. |
