For a 2008 and 2009 Vision the answer is yes. But it does make the cable a little longer. I can still charge the iPhone 4 and use it as an iPod with an Otter Box over the phone but it fills the glove box.
I whole heartedly recommend getting an old iPod Nano 3 from a Pawn Shop....cheap and leaving it in the Vision. But if you have to have a new iPod Nano the charging adapter works fine.
Have you read the iPod guide for the Vision?

Yes, I have an 08 with the white Ipod cord and it functions perfectly and charges it. This little piece is pure magic. |

Posts: 31 West Chester, PA / 08 VVPT | Do they make a $100 cable for the 08/09 Vision? The only one I can find (iPod KIT part # 2878628 ) has 2 plugs on it but my 08 only has one.

From your document:
Fix2: The easier way to fix the same issue for the 2008 and 2009 Visions is the newer Black cable (part number 2877894) that will charge any iPod/iPhone for $99.99. It has a box in the cable that coverts the voltage and sends it to the correct pin to charge the iPod/iPhone.
I found part # 2877894 the other day, but when I looked at it on the victory site, it does not seem to be the right part (see the picture below) Are they just listing the wrong picture?

Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | I bought that little inline stub thing. It works but I have two issues with it. Using it with an iphone it barely fits in the glove box. I have to put a severe bend in the cable to get it in. Number 2, it just pushes into the bottom of the device so he can disconnect on you. |

It is either the wrong picture or the cable is built to fit different bikes depending on what connector is plugged it. For over three years I have been using the same old White connector in mine.
I use Gen 3 iPod Nano's I buy at pawn shops. So charging is not an issue. I have two and swap them out when the mood strikes me or to add/change my lists.
I also have an iPhone 4 that I use the Charging Adapter with.....Like CW said it is a really Tight fit in the glove box.
