Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | since i got rid of my 2008 and bought the 2011 i noticed my ipod cable does Not work with the 2011. I understand that i will need a new cable. I was wondering if someone could explain to me why the new cable has 2 plugin's ? i see them in the photos, and before i purchase anything i want to better understand what they do. (the 2 inputs). |

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | oic, sucks i cant use the cable from my 08.. dealer wants $100 just for that cable. so right now until i figure out what i want to do i did what i did with my 08 vision.. I ran a 3.5mm type cable from my trunk to the glove box and tied in to the 3.5mm there and stream internet radio through the radio while my htc thunderbolt charges in the trunk |

| I believe the early cables are black and 2010 they changed to a white cable cause of the radio |

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | yeah the 2011 is surely different from the 08. when i lifted the radio up today to find the plugin , i knew i was screwed as soon as i saw it.. i dont use my ipod a whole lot. but i do use it. and my girlfriend likes to plug i hers from time to time. but damn $100 for a cord? No choice though... maybe i can find a place a little cheaper? |

| In my case the $49.00 white cord did not charge my Ipod nano 4th gen. I also had problems with the Ipod using the white cord. I switched to the $99.00 black cord almost 2 years ago, I have not had any problems and it keeps me charged. I also use it with my Iphone 4, not perfect compatibility with Vision system, but it works. Buy the way I have an 08 Vision |
