Howdy------- I'm trying to figure out how to remove the center console on my 2011 Vision Tour. I was told to remove the chrome speedometer/ tach trim to gain access to the front attachment point of the consol. Any suggestions as to how to remove this trim minimalizing damage to the trim would be most appreciated. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

A small plastic putty knife is all you need. Slide in along one edge and pry up gently. You can get a full set of plastic trim tools at Harbor Freight for a couple of bucks.

Thanks for the feedback. A new Harbor Freight just opened up near me. Great opportunity to check out the store. Thanks again. Walt

You can also use a flat edge screw driver if you want. Just put tape all around the edges where it will make contact. Save you a trip!

The panel will just pull off with your hands, no tool needed. Just grip and pull straight out. There are snaps holding it in. Replacement is a snap...

Nerve racking the first time! But yes, it just pulls off.

John,

I used the same tools in the video! Do not forget your 20% off coupon when you go there to buy um! The other half of the coupon I just used is a free (Cheap) Multimeter. I tossed the Digital Multimeter in a saddle bag...Maybe I might need it someday.
