Posts: 575 Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | Dropped by Lloyds to drop the VM1 - DR cams into my 09 Vision today at AVR. I'm loving the difference it has made in the torque and the engine seems to run much smoother. My Vision will literally throw you back in you seat if you really get on it. As always, the team was very professional and does quality work. Rylan was particularly thourough and fast at getting these installed this morning
Here are my three dynos over time. First one is generic stock Vision. Second is my 09 Vision with VFCIII and Lloydz intake from last year's AVR, and finally the third chart is just today . . . added Atom Bombs modified exhaust and VM1-DR cams.

Posts: 575 Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | Took it out today. Was in a hurry to finish up the Poker Run and opened her up on some back roads. Couple of guys in bandanas on some Vics were following my wife and I to the next stop. I accelerated hard, threw me into the seat a little and I was doing 80 MPH in 3rd gear . . . smoked the guys behind me and I was running two up! They caught up to us at the stop and were blown away by the speed and power . . . it was kinda cool. These cams are NICE! |

Posts: 575 Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | Cam job itself took around 2 hours. Rylan is thorough and fast. Waited a little to get it on dyne. Guy before me was having issues and needed to change out a fuel controller. Good thing about Lloyd is that it doesn't come off the dyne unless it is right . . . Unlike many other guys who slam them on and off as quick as possible to make a quick buck. (right Bri?). It was amazing to see people drive from all over the country to meet Lloyd and his team here in Spirit Lake, IA. One guy I met really didn't even know the rally was going on and came just to see Lloyd. Think he was 100% booked this weekend. I'd advise that anyone who needs performance work on their Victory to get on their list early for next years AVR |

Posts: 111 Salina, KS | Man...it was nice meeting you at Lloyd's setup. I too am impressed by the difference, well worth it! Lloyd mentioned this may be his last trip with the dyno....not gospel, but I'm pretty sure he said he wants to get the dealers in-step with his methods next year.
lova - cams $495 / labor to install & dyno $350 + intake plate & controller of your choice |

Posts: 575 Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | Hope Lloyd does return. I know there were issues with the other dealer that brought their dyno that went against the contract they had with Victory. I trust Lloyd and his gang much more than I do some of these dealerships who hire less than skilled help. I heard that the guys ru Ning the other dyne blew an engine up recently. They are NOT touching my bike. As busy as they were this year I hope Lloydz will be back, maybe with two dynos! |
