While on the way to AVR mt radio blue back light started to quiver,,flash then go out,,, shortly after the readout started to break up,,then dissappear,, then all kinds of lines,, boxes then total blank out.... ok so here is the question,, Ive got a late 08 with CB and intercom,,, when the radio is changed out will my cb/intercom still work? Or what am I to expect is heading my way? Warranty or no warranty ,,any experience with this type of thing?? Thanks guys for your responses!!

That is a tough question. There were some owners here that upgraded their radio and the older CB/ICOM would not work unless it was also upgraded.

If you replaced it with another 08-09 radio you should be fine....as long as the code is close to the same as the radio you have now.

Two months after I bought my 09 Vision the radio went silent, I still had the display, but no sound.(I don't have CB or intercom on mine.) The dealer upgraded the software, but it still didn't work. They called Victory and the radio manufacturer and ordered me a new radio under warranty. It worked at first but soon it would go off and the display would go off completely like it had a loose wire. You could see the display start to come on sometimes and then just go blank. They replaced it again under warranty and this one has worked ever since. I don't know if the extended warranty covers everything the original did. I think they had some bad units on the early Visions.
