Just traded my 2007 K1200LT on a beautiful 2009 Primium Tour Vision. It's so red that it makes my bloodshot eyes look clear! Will miss the smoothness of the K-bike but absoultely love being able to stand flat-footed.... Too many tip overs at stop lights... With 24 miles on the speedo (already), am taking it onto the slab today to see it it can run out of 2nd gear.... Darn I hate city driving! Am putting on S1L1, reverse gear (hey, I'm old and weak!), cener stand, tail light mod with 99 led mod. Just added a extension to the side stand (fat short legs), and am good to go. Used to get "looks" on the LT but now they walk over and go "ooooh!"

dkc1944,

Welcome!

I have not read many (if any) good reviews on the Victory Center Stand. It drags in turns and over bumps.

I have read many good things about the King Stand Center Stand for the Vision.

Click the link below for a review of the Victory product.

Here is a link to the king stand.

Welcome to the Vision you will love the bike...I am also short and like being able to put feet down at stops...Just wrote to a guy on web that alters the stock seats on bike and can cut it down as much as 2". I am going to talk with him later today and see how it works and prices....I would like to go about another inch lower and I would be a really happy camper.....

You'll spend a lot of time @ fuel stops showing the bike off to folks. The handling will amaze you-welcome aboard!!

You being old and me older then you how you going to get it up on the center stand? I have never seen a need for one and have watched others try to find flat ground and then struggle to get it up. The bike not what the wife says.

Good for you I hope you get many miles out of the city. Enjoy our great beautiful country.

Welcome, you're gonna love your Vision. My poor old Harley looks at me longingly every time I'm in the garage. I guess I'll get her out when it cools down.

Congrats, you'll enjoy it. Just don't park on any downhill slopes until you get that reverse lol.

I as well just purchased a 2011 Vision and coming from a BMW LT 2003 model, was a good bike but the more I ride this bike the more I really enjoy it. I have thought about adding the reverse as you are, ( once you have had it kind of thing) anyway please let me know after you have had it installed how you like the reverse and if it is any different than the LT's. Enjoy the new bike I certainly am thus far.

Yeah. No matter WHERE you go, you're going to get some looks and questions. Dropped my wife off at a store the other day and waited outside, and I had to grin when I hear a little girl (maybe around 6 yrs old?) yelling from across the parking lot, "WOW! MAMA! LOOK AT THAT COOL MOTORCYCLE!!!"

Opas -I'd be interested if this results in a good experience for you. Depending on my footwear, I'm either barely flat footed or close to it, so an inch or two would really make a difference. Thanks!
