Ruskin, Fl | I decided to go with another E3 till the back wears out and change both to something different. Go figure, it's on back order. I got a call that I should have the new one this week. Not a moment too soon.

Ruskin, Fl | I rode to the cyclegear store I had been using only to find out that branch was closing the following week and wasn't allowed to place orders. I decided to give a local shop the business. They don't discount tires but it's all inclusive price. Ride in - ride out. No extra charges for balancing, stem, ect. I decided if was worth $40 not to spend half a day messing with it and driving back and forth with the wheel in the trunk of my cage. They had a ME880 in stock in 21" but it is bias and I decided not to mix tires. |

Ruskin, Fl | Nice price, $124 plus 5 dollar shipping for the 21". Out of stock of course. List is $210, I paid $190. Their price for the stock 18" is $135 plus shipping and is in stock. |

Bay of Gigs, WA | I swear, I'm going darkside next time so I never have to buy a tire again. At $300 a pop, this is a pain in the ass! Anybody go dark on the front? Or is that verboten?

I called around looking for some E3s and nobody had them in stock, including the non-Victory dealers.
They were about 1 week out. |

That's what I have done for my 4 sets of tires on my old ride. And I just have 'em shipped to my wrench. I plan on doing the same thing with my new Vision 8 Ball. |

| I wounder if the dealers are not stocking them cause were ordering them on line for a better price and getting them with in two days?
A buddy order two tire the first of december and had them in two days free shipping and save all most a hundred dollars on over all price.
He said by june he'll need two so now there so much cheaper. |

Pittsburgh, PA | in my area there has been a trend where if you dont buy a tire from a dealer they will NOT install it for you.. then when you tell them thats $hitty. they said its due to "legal issues". the legal issues they claim are, they would be installing a tire that they dont know is a blemish tire or not and they dont want the legal responsiblity of risking a law suit by installing a tire they have no idea where it came from ...
i know its a bunch of bull... but i have seen this trend growing in my area... probably their way of getting back at us? like ok you buy that tire on line cheap.... have fun trying to install it... |

New Bohemia, VA | Okay - enough is enough. If you check your bike like you should, especially the tires, you will know when you need one. It's simple, if you want to pay your dealers price, call them and say "hey, I think I've got X miles left on my tires, can you order me one?" Way too simple. Don't get mad at a dealer because you've ran you tire past the legal limit and them diss them because they didn't have one in stock. If you really need one in that kind of pinch, rush to your Honda dealer that most likely has them in stock if you're running the E3.
As far as the dealer not installing it, is only because they are losing a dollar because you brought your own part to have replaced. JMHO. I take mine to the Suzuki joint, ordered the tire online, and they mount it with no problem. |
